Values
In the activities carried out by the center so far, attention has been paid to ensure that it is of high quality and effective, that it has a voice, that it is level, up-to-date, reliable, impartial and transparent, and these basic values have been achieved to a large extent.
Purposes
The new order established by Atatürk gained its modern meaning with the republic. What Atatürk had in mind when he went to Samsun on May 19, 1919, was to "unconditionally establish a new Turkish State based on national sovereignty." Atatürk worked to achieve this ideal throughout the war of independence. Ataturk started his struggle under very negative conditions, but he never fell into despair and indecision.
The most important quality that we, as a university, must impart or teach to our youth and people today is Ataturk's perseverance and determination. There is no room for despair and pessimism in Ataturkist thought. There is a principle of always working, not giving up on anything for the sake of one's beliefs, and achieving results.
In addition to all these, the aims of the Ataturk Principles and Revolution History Research and Application Center are as follows;
• Will not compromise on national integrity and independence,
• Will learn and teach our national and spiritual values,
• Aim to raise the country above the level of contemporary civilization,
• Will see beyond the horizon,
• Conduct scientific studies that will reveal the services rendered by the Turkish Nation to humanity in the past,
• Will take Ataturk's Principles and Revolutions as its guide in every field,
• To raise young people who will not compromise the unity and integrity of the country and its modern, democratic and secular character.
The aims of Gazi University Ataturk Principles and Revolution History Research and Application Center also comply with the aims of the Higher Education Law.
